I Love You Poem ~
Silence

What do I say to you
When the phone stops ringing
And silence has ensued
But it's never quiet
No this silence is filled with the thoughts I have subdued
About you and me
The possibilities are endless
But I don't want to end this

I love more than you think I do
I'd do anything for you
But the feelings aren't reciprocated
With your plain "I love you too"
No no that just won't cut it
I've tried to let this go
But I can't let you off that easy this time

So tell me this
How much do you love me?
Does it ever make you cry?
Why does it feel like I'm wasting your time?
Is it a crime to want to hear you speak every single day?
Is it a crime to want to have you as a part of my life in every way?
Then just say it
I can't take the silence anymore
This is not what I was looking for

When I said I love you
I meant it
And I mean it more and more each day.
