if i could be with you tonight

i would hold you til the early morning light

just to see the sunrise hit upon your face

would take me to a happy place

if i could run my fingers through your hair

it would take me to a place where only angels dare

if i could feel your breath in my ear

my whole body would tremble just to have you near

if i could look into your loving blue eyes

it would take me to the heavenly skies

if i could kiss your beautiful red lips

the sweetness of honey i would take many sips

but for now i must wait til the day finally comes

to be with you my love and just let my dreams run
