Romantic Love Poem ~ Two Hearts One Soul

two hearts one soul,
the smell of your skin,
the gentleness of your touch,
these are the things i miss so much.
the pacing at the waters edge calms
the storms building inside of me.
it seems as though sometimes
i am as one with you when at the sea.
the rhythm of the waves
seems at times to dance a lovers beat,
and always when i think of you
on comes inside of me the internal lovers heat.
and as i enter the waters
its as though your body envelops me.
a strange and yet familiar sigh its your face i see.
never has anyone been able to
calm the raging storms inside of me till there was you,
and here in the ocean oh so blue
i become as one with you.
you take me higher to
the very top of each and
every wave and gently calm the storm within .
and when darkness comes and
its time to go home ,
its then the eternal loneliness sets in.
ever will i be thankful when we are as one again,
for only then will the storm be calm within.
