Friendship Love Poem ~ The Love And Gift Of Friendship

the love and gift of friendship:
" in storm's word's and thoughts "
you reach out your hand to me,
and i take it gladly for all to see.
thankful for the gift of knowing you,
and having a friendship that is new.
i do not ever see a color
or a race or religion,
for you see you are all brother\'s
and sister\'s in the heart that makes me.
i value your friendship
like a priceless treasure,
the love i feel
for each of you can never be measured.
you pick me up when i am down,
you smile and take away the frown.
the gifts that you give to me
be it in a note, a joke or a certain blog,
i hold dear to my heart,
for it was written by a treasured friend,
that i have valued from the start.
the best i can say to you is
these few words i am rich,...
not in money not in jewels
not in stocks and bonds,
no i am rich for the value
i place on my friends.
