Inspirational Love Poem ~ Love To The American Soldier

to all the troops here and far away,
i just wanted you to know
you are in this American girl's heart today.
i want you to know
how proud i am of each of you,
for supporting our country and the red,
white and blue.
the price of freedom carries a great cost,
and yet each of you proudly serve
no matter the loss.
for the battles fought,
and the men who have died,
America's heart continues to cry.
i want to thank each
and every soldier who has ever served,
and give each of you the praise
you so richly deserve.
and to the families who's husbands,
wife's. sons, and daughters,
who did not come home,
they will be forever remembered in the hearts of many
and they are not alone.
i am sure that there is a brightest of stars
and stripes awaiting in heaven
that proudly called your dear one home.
so on this memorial day,
i would like to say,
American's never forget,
and you are in our heart ,
prayers, and thoughts each and every day.
