Long Distance Love Poem ~ A Far Away Love

today you leave to make a better life,
and yet my heart bleeds like
it\'s been cut open with a knife.
it\'s so hard to watch those you love go,
and so i silently cry
and say inside i love you
and you carry my heart
with you always dearest mo.
the pain i feel as you walk away,
will be replaced with our marriage
and happiness someday.
never shall we have to part again,
for after all is done,
we start our lives till the journeys end.
i am so proud to shout out
my love for you,
and i will remain here waiting faithful
and true.
so as you board that plane today,
know in your heart
that your little hoosier girl loves you
and our love is here to stay.
