Inspirational Love Poem ~ Babies Held Tight In God's Sweet Love

how do i ever learn to let each of you go,
the pain of losing you was such a tragic blow.
i carried you inside of me and felt
your first little kicks,
laughing
and telling you my babies cute little tricks.
the sound of your heart beats still echo in my mind,
and i just know each of you would have brightly shined.
the first time i held you each in my arms,
i thought how sweet and small like delicate precious charms.
i so wanted to breathe for each of thee,
but the doctors all told me it was not to be.
how many tears i then did weep,
knowing i had to turn you over for the angels to keep.
each and every birthday i light a candle,
and place it upon the mantle.
silently i say a prayer to the lord above,
that i am grateful you\'re held tight in his arms of love.
and i know someday we again shall meet,
when i am standing at our heavenly fathers feet.
then at last we shall be together,
mother and child, forever and ever.
