Desired Love Poem ~ Lost Soul

You came into my life
like a lit candle on a dark night,
you open up my soul
and set my heart on fire, you're my only desire.
I can never see me without you.
each morning I wake
I long to see your face, your image consumes my mind
and your voice is an echo in my heart
saying why are we so close
yet so far apart.
