Romantic Love Poem ~ The Love And Gift Of Words

They say that music can touch a soul,
so i am reaching out to you,
can you feel the music inside
does it touch you as you have touched me.
can you see the sadness
can you feel the pain, tell me this is not in vain.
i need to know that you\'re always near,
just whisper, for i will always hear.
you mean so much to me,
your music and words have set me free.
not many have the gift to touch a soul,
always we must keep striving to reach our goal.
at times we may need a break,
to think of what we may do or say next that is in our hearts,
to reach that soul,
and give ourselves a little shake.
but we must never give up what we give to others,
even if at times we feel we are being smothered.
it is the goodness and the love of words we share,
that makes those we want to touch know that we truly do care.
i hope that for each path you may take,
that there is always a hand out for you to shake.
i wish you always the gift of love and laughter,
always knowing that that if the tears comes
there is always someone here for you after.
life is living in both the joys
and the pains,
yet the the heart of our words will always remain.
