It picks me up
And places me gently on cloud nine

The sway of an ocean breeze
The easy-goingness of the palm trees
They've got nothing on me

Your love reminds of a happier time
Before love was a truth I'd known
Just a fabrication
Like a new novel
It shows me how love can be
You bring out all the joy in me

The butterflies
The inexplicable smiles
The dreams that play on in my eyes

Your love is like a sweet sweet tune
That plays only for my ears to hear
And it sings a song of early times
The future brings nothing but the best for me
