Inspirational Love Poem ~ Never Will I Forget

i never will forget that faithful day
back when so many obstacles stood in our way

through time they passed one by one
from the dark cavern we are seeing the sun
you with the beautiful face and loving eyes

through many hard times and very long sighs
you never met a man like me before
that awoke emotions that have long been stored

never you said you could love another man
too many heartaches for one little lady to stand
i am both humble and also very meek

i can walk away from trouble and turn the other cheek
i love to joke and always play around
though there is a sensitive and serious side that you have found

the sound of your laughing fills me with delight
like nothing i have found before this feels so right
the sound of your voice always perks me up when i am down

you are the queen of my heart upon your head i place a crown
just knowing your in my life to stay
peace and happiness for us is all i pray
