Inspirational Love Poem ~ Only The Angels

only the angels above can truly see
the kind loving man you have made out of me
the time we share is the greatest time on earth
i cherish every second for all it\'s worth
being with you makes me feel so numb

i eagerly await the good times to come
holding you in my arms for all the world to see
the very thought of those moments make me so happy
a journey over many thousands miles will come to an end
our very waking hours will be ours to spend

too long we have waited oh beautiful love of mine
for that special piece of heaven we call\"our time\"
only god knows for sure when that time will come for us

so until that time comes anxiously wait we must
very few know how hard this must be to live through

we have lived it for an eternity or is it two?
for me i know whenever it comes it will never be too late

for me i know you are worth the wait
i would walk the hottest desert and swim the ocean blue
to spend the rest of my life growing old with you
