to show the way i felt
i wrote a million words
for every picture i ever saw of you in my dreams
i labelled every song
a ballad about me and you
and i felt my heart ablaze
when i saw you from across the room
and in my eyes
you used to see something
i never saw in myself
and in your eyes
i heard your soul scream my name
someday you\'ll find your way
and someday soon we must leave each other
but until then
to show the way i feel
i\'ll write a million more words
for every picture i see of you
from now
until the end of time
and my soul will scream the name it yearned for
time indefinite to time indefinite
from the flight of time till the end of time
