Inspirational Love Poem ~ Beneath The Willow

lying here on a blanket beneath the old willow tree
i think of you and how we came to be
do you ever think of where we began
did you ever think we\'d be together again
so many stops and starts
and so many tears that tore at our hearts
and yet each would give the other the hope laughing
and at time crying out lets just elope
you are there and i am here
and yet in my heart i always feel you near
our time will come to be as one heart we have always known that from the start
peacefully i close my eyes and its you i see
holding your arms open saying come to me
i can drift in this dream of you
and remember when our love was new
soon my love we will reunite
and set all that was wrong right.
time and distance could not stop our love
this was made in the heavens above
