if i knew then what i know now
i would have made linda mine
lovely linda how i loved her
her smile long remembered still affects me
that christmas at the taxi rank
my lips hold her kisses still
my heart still yearns for her
i let her go because in the back ground was roger
i thought it best to let it run its course
or he would forever be between us
i was wrong and i lost her
i know now she was the one
my soul mate my linda
what a life we could have had together
what a life we could still be having
if only i'd known then what i know now of life
