i have stood in view of the far pavilions
i have stood upon the great lakes shore
i have stood in the heat of the hottest desert
i have stood at niagara and looked in awe
i have seen many things in my long life
it is my plan to live to see many more
but i know i will never see more beauty
now i stand beside you of that i'm sure
