for life in the world of mine own

the lord has given me the world

as i get the wind and be blown.

lord, i ask you to forgive all i have done

for i have felt as i have wanted a gun.

my life is too precious to be giving up

for i would of the fluid from the cup.

my life has felt as though i can live

no more for i have nothing to give.

father, give me the strength and

the wisdom to live this land

that i came to know as my home.
