Infatuation: Big word, simple meaning.
When I hear that word, I think about you.
I think about the way things are.
The way I wish they were.
I feel so foolish,
thinking about you.
Wondering if you're thinking about me too.
Watching you,
Hoping that as soon as I turn around you'll be watching me.
There is no point to my obsession.
All I see ahead is disappointment.
Is it purely superficial,
or does it go deeper than that?
Does any of it have meaning,
or is it just a waste of my time?
As I think about all this,
I wonder if I'll ever know you.
If I'll get over my fear and do something.
But what can I do?
All these thoughts are so mixed up,
and they're always in the back of my mind.
New questions without answers.
