You were there, ready to leave
I watched you go with a sigh of relief
Didn't want you to see the desires within me
Didn't want you to feel my world of ecstasy
Maybe I was afraid of getting involved
Maybe I wasn't ready for the fall
So I watched you go as your eyes pierced my soul
And I was left wanting you more and more.
